Light mezzanine floor system
The freestanding floor is built-up out of main- and sub girders made of cold rolled profiles. The girders are equipped with standard perforation patterns to easily connect them using nuts and bolts. Vertical cross bracing ensures the stability of the construction. The columns are equipped with head- and foot plates. On top of this construction 38 mm thick chipboard floor panels are lined up using tongues and grooves and then fixed with screws. It is also possible to use steel gratings instead of chipboard, should local safety guidelines dictate this.
Heavy mezzanine floor system
The freestanding mezzanine floor is built up of main- and sub girders, which are made of IPE, HEA or HEB, beams. The sub beams are fitted with flanges for attaching them to the main beams. The columns are equipped with head- and foot plates that are fixed to the floor using express anchors. The entire structure is connected by nuts and bolts, and is completely self-bracing. On top of this construction 38 mm thick chipboard floor panels are lined up using tongues and grooves and then fixed with screws. It is also possible to use steel gratings instead of chipboard, should local safety guidelines dictate this.
Rack supported mezzanine floor system
The floor is placed either on top of, or between the existing racking. The floor beams hook directly in to the shelving units and are secured with a locking pin. This results in a secure and strong connection between the floorboards and the racking. The floor itself is made of 38 mm thick chipboard floor panels with a tongue and groove connection, slid together and secured to the floor beams with screws. Again you can choose to use steel gratings should local safety guidelines not allow chipboard floors.
